OK, lots of stuff to get to here, so let’s jump right into it:

• First, thanks very much to everybody who came to our CD release show, to Mike at Rudyard’s for having us, and gracias especial to Woozyhelmet, Muhammadali and 500 Megatons of Boogie for playing with us. It was a really fun evening.
• Thanks to Quinn Bishop and Cactus music for having us there as well. In case you weren’t there, that show went a lot better than we expected- Ben and Carrie’s baby was able to nap through our performance, if that gives you any idea. I hope we get to do it again sometime, although Stu may disagree with me there.
• Someone that I don’t know named Jay Dryden took some photos of us at Cactus.

• David Cobb at Houston Calling also was quite kind in his review of Vocabularian Herds, which just went up today:
  

  . . . it’s the 10-plus minute instrumental “Highway At Night” that best shows the band’s range and musicianship. It builds slowly, into a solid melodic jam–very similar to some of the better post-rock bands–and hits its peak at a drawn-out wall of thrash. It’s one of those songs that listeners will immediately want to hear again.

  I’d honestly thought these guys were as tight as they could possibly get with their last album, No Turn Jonx Red, but here Herds steps in and makes me revise that opinion.
