Tonight at the Mink: Jonx, 500 Megatons of Boogie, Bright Men of Learning

Hello people,

It’s 2:15 AM so I will keep this short (for me). We’re playing tonight at the Mink with 500 Megatons of Boogie and Bright Men of Learning.

The Mink is located on the 3700 block of Main Street, at Alabama, two doors down from the Continental Club. Fun place to hang out.

Students who have been paying attention may remember that 500 Megatons of Boogie contains two ex-members of the Squishees/ Slurpees. I think they might have a new record coming out. Ask for their cover of “Sexy Sexy Sexy;” you won’t be sorry. They will drop a bomb on you. Do not ask me about the size or composition of said bomb, I humbly beg.

Bright Men of Learning, led by Marshall Preddy, Esquire, and features former members of De Schmog and Lucky Motors. Recommended if you like the Replacements and Tom Petty. Marshall’s Bright Men blog is fun too.

We start recording our third full-length album Saturday the 24th. It will be called “. . . Too Tired to Think of a Funny Fake Title”. . . sorry :( The album’s gonna be really good though, I swearz.

To sum up:
Jonx (last), 500 Megatons of Boogie (second), Bright Men of Learning (first)

At the Mink, Main @ Alabama

Starts roughly 10 PM.

*urk* dead
